In July 2009, SEANET hosted the Kingdom of Cambodia's Senior Immmigration Officials on a 3 day study visit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The list of delegates included Pol. Col Chhay Bunna, Deputy Director of Immigration, Pol. Lt. Col Teab Bunleap, Chief of International Checkpoint Division, Pol. Lt. Col Thong Phalla, Assistant Director and Pol. Maj Sar Sereyvichet, Deputy Chief of Phnom Penh International Airport.
The delegates paid a courtesy call to Malaysia's Director General of Immigration, Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman at his office in Putrajaya which was followed by a visit to the e-Passport Department and a guided observation of border control operations at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) in Sepang.
