To apply, travelers need to access http://www.visa.gov.mm, which contains instructions in four languages; English, German, Chinese and Japanese to accommodate the majority of traveler arrivals from these countries to Myanmar. After completing the application form, applicant will proceed to make payment for the visa fees of USD 30 with a creadit card. The approved application will be returned via e-mail. "The e-visa system is conceptualized and brought to fruition by the e-Application Working Committee of the e-National Task Force using products and services offerings of Malaysian companies such as MSC Trustgate Sdn Bhd providing online security, CAMTECH Asia IT & T Sdn Bhd which integrates the payment gateway and Maybank Berhad as a Merchant Bank," explained Mr. Thein Swe. "The comprehensive support and solution of Malaysian companies towards the overall success of the Myanmar e-visa system is as a result of the close relationship between the e-National Task Force and the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDec) on ICT collaborations."
